Noting the last quote you referred to in the exchange between Chris Law & Steve Gilmore, one thing that Gilmore missed is that at this time, Aggregate Knowledge works purely as a service for individual publishers/merchants. The user clickstream info is not being used across sites at this time. Hence, in reading Overstock's (one of their clients) Privacy Policy, it included the following:

---
We may collect navigation and clickstream data

As you browse our web site, we may gather navigational and clickstream data that shows what pages are visited and how long various features are used. This information will not reveal your identity or be linked to you personally. We use this information to complete, analyze and support your purchases from Overstock.com and use of the Overstock.com web site to comply with any requirements of law and to determine the commissions for our Affiliates. This information may be disclosed only to our staff and to third parties involved in the completion of your transaction, the delivery of your order, and the analysis and support of your use of the Overstock.com web site.
---

With that said, I don't believe that at this time, Aggregate Knowledge (AK) has any further responsibility, as Gilmore tried to imply. Now, at such time that AK wants to begin leveraging the clickstream exhaust across other sites in their network, then perhaps more notice may need to be provided to adhere w/AttentionTrust principles, but not until then.

Full disclosure, while I know the AK folks I'm *not* an investor nor an employee of the company...just like what they're doing :)
