Tying a user’s identy to a file

Outfoxed had it easy when everything was contained in an RSS file. But now we want to expand to include data from other formats. This means getting social-network information from formats like FOAF and XFN, and link ratings from microformats like votelinks.

The touble then is to relate all of these various files and formats together, so that when someone else says, “I trust Stan, with address at http://example.com/user/stan” that they will also implicitly trust the connections found in an embedded FOAF file or the links in an embedded RSS file.
