Social Network Video (And a Facebook rant)
Here’s a nice (bordering on cheesy) video explaining social networks. (via Ziki’s blog)
(If you’re reading this in a reader, you’ll have to click through to this post to see it. Sorry.)
But to continue my FaceBook complaining: The video points out that one of the values of social networks is being able to connect to friends of friends. However, this is an area where you are thwarted by Facebook’s overzealous privacy settings. There are no tools to help you use your network to find people (as LinkedIn does).

Good series on Facebook. However, I am not sure that the glass ceiling you talk about works in Facebook’s advantage. The only reason I am on Facebook and not on MySpace is this ceiling. That said, I think Facebook does need to do a better job with people search. I still think that Facebook and Spock is a marriage made in heaven

Hello, when we talk about the people involved in these fields, it’s a fact that designers aren’t necessarily artists and artists aren’t necessarily designers. Thanx you for video.
